Subtitle: A look back at three intensive days of solution architecture, data strategy, and hands-on innovation at UTM.

The vision: from textbook learning to real systems
"Digital skills are no longer built through theory alone. They grow through direct contact with real systems, real projects, and the people behind them."
This powerful statement from the Technical University of Moldova (UTM) captures the core of the "Career Launchpad for the SAP Ecosystem" at Tekwill. I had the honor of joining an international team of experts to help bridge the gap between academic education and professional enterprise implementation.
Deep dives into the SAP ecosystem
Over three intensive days, the focus was not just software - it was understanding complex interconnections. The program was designed to reflect the realities of modern business environments:
- Solution Architecture on SAP BTP: The path from abstract ideas to scalable cloud architectures.
- Modern data concepts: A deep dive into the shift from monolithic structures to Data Mesh and Lakehouse architectures - the foundation for any AI-driven future.
- Methods and frameworks: Applying Design Thinking for problem-solving and SAP Activate to manage the innovation lifecycle in a structured way.
Scaling knowledge through our learning platform
A key success factor of this training was the use of our dedicated learning platform.
Theory is one thing, but seeing these concepts translated into a structured digital learning path enabled students to explore complex architectures at their own pace. By using the platform, we made the on-site training sustainable, made progress measurable, and provided focused insights into AI-powered SAP workflows.
Collaboration and community
Innovation never happens in isolation. Working alongside expert colleagues such as Michael Dorn, Tsovinar Chugaszyan, and Jason Luo was a strong reminder of the power of the global SAP community.
A special highlight was the SAP Meetup Chișinău, where students, experts, and local professionals came together to discuss the "next chapter" of digital transformation in Eastern Europe.
"The program guided participants step by step - from understanding systems to building systems."

What's next?
This event strongly reinforces the mission of Next Chapter Experts. The intersection of SAP technology and artificial intelligence requires a new mindset: agile, data-centric, and human-centered.
In the coming weeks, I will dive deeper here on the blog into the specific BTP and Data Mesh topics we developed in the workshop. Stay tuned!
